The itaas DSM-CC library is a C++ class library supporting DSM-CC U-N Session protocol for managing interactive and continuous feed sessions. It has been tested on Solaris/SPARC, Linux x86 and Win32 platforms.

The class library supports creating and destroying DSM-CC messages, access function to access payload and resource descriptors. It also contains getting payload data suitable for sending over a (socket) stream. Additionally, the library contains methods for constructing DSM-CC messages from data read from a (socket) stream.

This implementation includes DSM-CC messages and resource descriptors needed to interact with Scientific-Atlanta Explorer 2000 network according to the Time Warner Pegasus SSP 1.x specification.
